After 32 years of living in Albuquerque and running Ernest Thompson, Mike now lives in Denver, working remotely full time, while also traveling back to Albuquerque and Ernest Thompson a couple of days a month.
Living in Denver has allowed Mike to spend more time with his kids and grandkids, also residents of Denver.
Mike loves living in downtown Denver and participating in the varied cultural activities that are available, as well as enjoying the many restaurants nearby. Living next door to Coors Field has enabled Mike to attend quite a few Rockies games, although his heart will always be with the Mets and Astros. Skiing in the winter, hiking year round and exploring the many bike trails in Denver has introduced Mike to the fantastic outdoor activities Colorado has to offer.

In Memoriam 2/16/54 – 8/31/16
Doreen was a co-owner of Ernest Thompson with her husband Mike until she lost her battle with cancer in 2016. Her contribution to the success of Ernest Thompson was immense and she leaves behind many loyal customers. We will always miss Doreen’s infectious smile and the enthusiasm and leadership she brought to the company.
