The Hudelson Chest

Inspiration for this chest comes from a piece built by Samuel Hudelson to store flat art at the New Mexico Museum of Art.

In making the original piece for the Museum, Hudelson incorporated motifs inspired by Native American weavings and pottery he would have encountered during his work as an art teacher on several pueblos and reservations in the Southwest.
